By car:

• From north or from the Brenner Pass: follow A22 toward Modena. Take the exit "Rovereto sud - Lago di Garda nord" or "Affi - Lago di garda sud".
• From A4 (Milan-Venice): take one of the following exits: "Brescia est", "Desenzano del Garda", "Sirmione" or "Peschiera del Garda". Alternatively, take the exit "Verona sud", merge onto A22 and take the exit "Affi - Lago di Garda sud".

By train:
Rail travel allows you to reach various towns around the lake. Each of the following stations offers several transportation services, including buses, shuttles and taxis to help you get to your final destination.

• To visit the southeast part of Lake Garda (Riviera degli Olivi), take the train to Peschiera del Garda (Verona)
• To visit Sirmione and the surrounding area, take the train to Desenzano del Garda (Brescia)
• To visit the northern part of Lake Garda, take the train to Rovereto (Trento)
• To visit the western part of lake Garda, take the train to Salò (Brescia)
